Finding Your Dominant Eye: This experiment takes two people, so have your mom or dad help you. 1. Keep both eyes open for this experiment!!!! 2. Hold your hands out in front of you and make a small triangle using your thumbs and hands (like the picture). 3. With BOTH EYES OPEN, put your helper's nose in the middle of the triangle. 4. Whichever eye your partner can see on you will be your dominant eye! Like in the picture on the right....my brother Matt is Right-Eye dominant because that's the eye that I can see when he puts the triangle on my nose. |
REMEMBER: Just because you are right-handed doesn't always mean you will be right-eye dominant. I've known some grown-ups who always thought they were "bad-shots" until they did this test and found out they'd been lining-up sights and targets with the wrong eye all their lives!! |
